Setting up the RB Button
There are a few ways you can set up your RB Button. Let's look first at what exactly is going on here. Your RB Button works by executing a bit of javascript when you push it. This is the non-personalized code:
This tells your browser to go to reviewbuilders.com/switch and it gives the Review Builders switch script the values for the network IDs. The switch script looks at the page that you clicked the RB Button from and sends you to the appropriate review builder, along with the network ID.
Let's build your RB Button. If you do not have a network number, or if you'd rather enter your number manually in the individual review builders, you may leave the XXXs in the form. Please do not leave any fields blank.
Method #1 - Drag this Link
Click and hold, then drag up to your browser's toolbar and drop. Make sure that your browser's toolbar is available - this is usually accomplished through the View -> Toolbars menu item. Please check your browser's documentation if you're not sure how to add bookmarks to your toolbar
This method is a simple copy/paste job. Copy that line of text, then in your browser, create a new bookmark with the code as the address to bookmark. Please see your browser's documentation if you're not sure how to add new bookmarks manually.
Please double-check your generated code
If you've made an error, simply re-fill the form with your numbers and press the Generate button again. The page will update with a new link.
More Information
About the ID numbers
In order for the review builders to create working links, you must be signed up with the network that the site you're linking to is with. You must also be a member of the program that the site you're linking to is running. For example:
If you would like to review a piece of art that you found at Loxly Gallery, you must be signed up for the Loxly Gallery affiliate program, which is run on the ShareASale network.
Sites in red are not yet available at Review Builders but are in progress.
If you are not going to be writing reviews for sites on certain networks (or if a builder does not yet exist for a certain network), there is no need to enter your ID number for the network (you may leave the ID as XXX). The link is set up with all those ID numbers for future use, so you don't need to reinstall the RB Button when a new network is added.
For users concerned about security...
Please read the Review Builders Privacy Policy, which talks about security issues related to your network ID numbers. Each review builder will have an input field where you may enter your network ID number prior to generating the code. You may also choose to generate the code with a false number and then change it to the correct number before inserting the code into your website.
If there are other sites that you would like a review builder for, please make sure that they have an affiliate program, then email me using the Review Builders contact form.
